Free wheelchairs via Distribution Partners
Wheelchairs are shipped in containers to partner nonprofits, who assemble and distribute them at no charge to recipients.
Eligibility: Partners must give wheelchairs to people most in need: those who don't already have one and cannot afford one.
Application: Individual requests cannot be fulfilled; wheelchairs go only through approved Distribution Partners. Organizations interested in becoming a distribution partner can email.

Referral for US wheelchair needs
FWM will provide a list of organizations that distribute wheelchairs within the US; call during business hours.

Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM—5:00 PM, excluding holidays
Medical and Mobility Emergency Fund
Supplies wheelchairs, medical supplies and mobility aids to people with disabilities in emergency situations.
